JS budget session to begin June 2

The Jatiya Sangsad will go into its budget session on June 2.

President Abdul Hamid has conveyed the budget session exercising the power bestowed upon him as per clause (1) of article 72 of the constitution, said a press release of Jatiya Sangsad secretariat on Tuesday.

The national budget for the fiscal year (FY) 2021-2022 will be placed in the parliament on June 3.

Like the previous year, this session will be shortened due to the coronavirus pandemic.
