88 cases filed under Road Transport Act today

A total of 88 cases have been filed under the new Road Transport Act-2018 in Dhaka.

Eight mobile courts of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority filed the cases today, the first day of its operation against irregularities on roads.

Meanwhile, the courts also fined the vehicle owners Tk121,000 for breaching the new act that took effect yesterday.
