3 die in Feni as train hits bus

Three persons were killed as a train smashed a bus at Fatehpur Rail Crossing in Feni district on Sunday morning.

At least 15 others were also injured in the accident that took place around 6:15am.

A Chattogram-bound mail train hit a bus of ‘NR Shyamoli Paribahan’ on the rail crossing, leaving two dead on the scene and 16 injured.

The wounded were rushed to 250-Bed Feni General Hospital where one more succumbed to his injuries.

Of the injured, three were sent to Chattogram and Dhaka as their condition deteriorated.

Feni Mohipal highway police Sation SI Taslim Uddin said the bus was removed from the rail line. Now, the bus and train communication became normal.
