1st USAID consignment of COVID-19 relief on way to Bangladesh

The first USAID consignment of COVID-19 response relief is on the way to Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Ambassador to USA M Shahidul Islam visited Travis Air Base to see off the consignment. “The generous support by the US government will greatly strengthen Bangladesh’s capacity to fight against COVID-19 pandemic,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, 600,000 doses of vaccine gifted by the Chinese government is ready for delivery by June 13, reports UNB.
