164 stranded Bangladeshis return from India

A total of 164 Bangladeshis, who were stranded in India, have returned home.

According to the sources, a special chartered flight of US-Bangla Airlines carrying the passengers landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3:48 pm today.

US-Bangla Airlines is scheduled to operate five more special flights till April 25 from Kolkata and Chennai to bring back other Bangladeshis who are stranded in India.

At least 600 Tablighi Jamaat men are stranded in different parts of the country.

Around 1,000 people, who went to Chennai and Vellore for treatment, and several hundred others, also now stranded in India.
