Six injured in N’ganj police firing brought at DMCH

Six persons injured in shotgun firing during a violent clash between police and BNP activists have been admitted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

They were brought at the DMCH early Thursday (Sept 1) afternoon.

The injured were Badal Bhuiya, 38, Rasel Prodhan, 30, Jewel Arman, 39, Nabil Hossain Robin, 27, Noor Hossain, 40, and Mansur Ahmed, 38.

The injured said they thronged the Gate No. 2 at Narayanganj Sadar Railgate area in observance of the 44th founding anniversary of BNP. Suddenly police attacked them and fired from shotguns.

DMCH Police Camp in-charge Md Bacchu Mia said six persons who were injured in Narayanganj clash were brought at the DMCH. All of them were carrying bullets of shotgun in their bodies. However, their condition was not serious.
