Priyanka Chopra is all set to release her memoir, Unfinished, soon

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is on a roll! The actress started 2021 with a bang with the release of her Netflix film, The White Tiger, co-starring Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav. The film has been received well by the masses across the globe. After the stupendous success of her film, the actress is all set to release her memoir, Unfinished, soon. Even before the release of Unfinished, excerpts from the books are already out.

In the book, Priyanka seems to have also highlighted some unpleasant experiences that she had in Bollywood. One of the episodes from Unfinished is about an uncomfortable incident that Priyanka had in the Hindi film industry.

As per the latest report in The Independent, the incident took place soon after she was crowned Miss World in 2002. Priyanka has narrated the incident in detail by revealing that once a director/producer suggested to her to ger her ‘proportions fixed’.

“After a few minutes of small talk, the director/producer told me to stand up and twirl for him. I did. He stared at me long and hard, assessing me, and then suggested that I get a b**b job, fix my jaw, and add a little more cushioning to my b*tt. If I wanted to be an actress, he said, I’d need to have my proportions ‘fixed’, and he knew a great doctor in LA he could send me to. My then-manager voiced his agreement with the assessment,” the actress has mentioned in her memoir.

Right after this unpleasant experience, Priyanka parted ways with her manager. And she has also mentioned how that incident left her stunned and feeling small. It is very brave of Priyanka to open up about a disturbing experience she had in the past.
