Neha Kakkar reveals she suffers from anxiety, says she has stage fright

November was quite a happening month for Bollywood singer and now a social media sensation Neha Kakkar. The Coca Cola hitmaker tied the knot with beau Rohanpreet Singh and it won’t be wrong to say that their wedding broke the internet and how! The duo then jetted off to Dubai for their honeymoon and spent quality time there.

Both Neha and Rohanpreet are back in Mumbai now. Neha has also resumed work. She can currently be seen as one of the judges in the popular singing reality show Indian Idol 12.

The reality show which was premiered on November 28th also has Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya as the remaining two judges. Aspiring singers from all over the country wish to be a part of this show. One such contestant named Anushka Banerjee recently performed on the stage of India Idol 12.

Anushka opened up about the struggle she faces while performing on the stage. Anushka shared she was troubled by her past experiences of social anxiety and that when she first the Indian Idol stage to perform, she had to take a pause due to stage fright.

On knowing about her struggle, Neha confessed that she herself suffers from anxiety. “I also go through social anxiety attacks when I perform. When I am on stage, my heart races like never before and my hands shiver,” the newly-married singer said.

Upon hearing Neha’s story, Anushka regained her confidence and went on to give a spectacular performance on the stage. This happened to be one of the many incidents wherein Neha was seen supporting the participants in her own little ways.

Earlier she had offered financial help of Rs. 1 lakh to a male contestant named Shahzad Ali and his mother.
