All govt staff must stay at work stations during Eid holidays

All employees at the government, non-government and mills and factories must stay at their working places during the Eid holidays.

The government has issued a gazette notification on Wednesday, extending the ongoing restriction till May 16.

The notice said all officials and staff of all government, non-government, autonomous offices and banks, financial institutions mandatorily must have to stay at their respective duty stations during the Eid holidays.

The current restriction was extended from May 5 to May 16.

Shops and shopping complexes will remain open from 10 am to 8 pm maintaining health guidelines. If any kind of deviation and violation are seen, the shopping malls and shops will be closed instantly, says the notification.
